ShaWanda Dominguez is a devoted wife, mother of 3(2 sons and 1 daughter), and grandmother of 3(2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter). Who are all the joys of her life. ShaWanda started working for Augusta Heights Baptist Church in January of 2024 as a Nursery Caregiver. She has a degree in Arts & Science with a specialization in Human Services with over 25+ years of experience in the childcare profession. ShaWanda has had a passion for children since high school in Early Childhood Learning. Starting her career working in Virginia public schools as a substitute teacher, a Paraprofessional in Special Education department, Mentor (for Central Senior High School), and a Family Advocate in the Head Start program for three counties. Since moving to the Upstate she has worked for Buncombe St. United Methodist in their Sunday Nursery Program. Her family later opened their home and became a licensed foster family until she starting her business as an in-home childcare provider for Pure Hands & Hearts Childcare LLC. In her business and in life she strives to provide a safe and nurturing enviroment to all the children she meets. ShaWanda loves cooking, photography, traveling and spending time with family.
